FET #3

Here I am sitting in Dr. H's waiting room about to begin getting monitored for FET #3. After a lot of talk we've decided to just go ahead and try again right away. Of course, a certain persons work schedule is heavy right now so things are a bit more complicated, but it isn't stopping us.

I had a baseline U/S to look at my ovaries and to make sure my lining is where it should be. All was fine, well, I'm assuming so because AZ never called to let me know either way. Surprise, surprise. For some reason, other than not calling me back today, AZ has been on the ball- at least so far. They faxed all the orders ON TIME and I was able to get an appt without having an anxiety attack. I've gotten plane tickets for March 4-6. I've decided to forgo the second day of bed rest and travel home. I can rest on the plane.

Oh, and last cycle I learned that I do indeed have an allergy to PIO. When the oil would leak back out the needle hole, I would itch like crazy. I broke out in hives and the injection sites swelled so badly that I had a dollar bill sized welt on both sides of my booty. Yes, I was literally dancing around scratching my bum, looking like a bear scratching its back on a tree, even in public. Sad but true. It was BAD. I was switched to the vaginal suppositories. No, it's not much fun but I prefer that to my achy tush. I'm still sore from PIO but I think it's getting better.

I've started Estrace again and have another U/S with blood work on the 27th. Yippy...
